Two Souls, One Forest
Nimasha and Ruwan first hiked to Sigiriya together in 2022 — two friends who didn't yet know they were falling in love. Three years of jungle walks, ancient temples, and shared sunsets later, they chose Heritance Kandalama — where the building itself grows out of the rock and into the jungle — as the only place worthy of their day.
Designed by the legendary Geoffrey Bawa, Kandalama is not a hotel that sits beside nature — it is nature. Long corridors open to the canopy, monkeys drift past the windows, and the ancient Dambulla caves watch from the hilltops. It is exactly where this love story belongs.
